Sony FE 28mm f/2 Lens - the decent exposure

Sony FE 28mm f/2 Lens

Finally I got the FE 28 mm f/2 on my desk. And to be honest, I'm quite happy about the performance and about the performance/price relation. It is a realtive fast prime lense and you would expect a limited DOF even with 28 mm. That means I'm looking for sharpness, colors and Bokeh for the testing to get or to show an overall impression. This morning I shot a few sunflowers and I'm impressed, impressed by all aspects. Have a look at the full picture and the 100% zoomed view:

This picture has been developed in Capture One, maybe the best raw converter for the sony cameras, and I didn't not tweak a lot, just a little bit of punch to the picture, that's all.

Colors are great, sharpness is where it has to be and how it has to be and the bokeh is smooth. That is all I have to know, the lens got a place in my pocket.

I have also a few projects for portraits in my mind where I will use that lense, I love the effect of that angle.
